Container Status
Whether a Stock Container is in service, and whether it can take more stock. Only an empty container can be made Inactive.
Where you’ll see it
In the Active column of the Containers list, on each container, and on a closed container's label.
What each value means
- Active
- In service. It can be packed, unpacked and moved.
- Inactive
- Out of service. It keeps its barcode and where it stands, but can't be packed or moved until it is reactivated.
- Open
- An active container that can take more stock.
- Closed
- Sealed at the dock once full, with its weights on its label. It takes no more stock, but can still be moved and unpacked.
