An ASN pallet won't check in

Why scanning a pallet's SSCC on the Inbound Station doesn't check it in, from a misread label to a pallet marked Not on truck, and what to do.
In short
The code isn't a pallet on this shipment's ASN, or the pallet is checked in or marked Not on truck. Check the label and the shipment, or receive the pallet's stock one product scan at a time.
What you see
The label didn't scan as an SSCC
An SSCC is 18 digits ending in a check digit. A damaged label, or a carton's barcode, reads as something else. Scan the pallet's SSCC label again, or enter its 18 digits in Scan.
The pallet isn't on this shipment's ASN
The pallet belongs to another shipment, or the supplier's ASN left it out. Check the shipment's Transaction Number on the Inbound Station against the paperwork. If the pallet is right but unlisted, scan NEW-PAL and receive its stock product by product.
It is already checked in
The SSCC was scanned before, and the message names the container it became. Nothing more is needed. To add stock to it, scan that container's label.
It is marked Not on truck
Someone marked the pallet missing. In Pallets on the ASN, select Undo beside it, then scan its SSCC again.
The ASN has no serials or lot for it
A serial-tracked or lot-tracked product needs its serials or lot on the ASN to check in as a whole pallet. Scan NEW-PAL, then scan each unit with its serial, or each product with its lot.
The pallet Container Type is missing or inactive
Pallets check in as UK Pallets, prefix PAL. If that Container Type is inactive or missing, no pallet checks in. Ask an Admin or a Warehouse Manager to make it active again.
