Keep the contacts your 3PL gets in touch with, and invite, change or remove the people at your company who sign in.

In short

On Your account, keep your Contacts up to date. Invite the people who sign in under People with Invite person. Contacts are who your 3PL gets in touch with; people are who sign in.

Before you start

You need to be a Client Account Administrator. Client Viewers and Client Users see Contacts and People without the buttons. They ask a Client Account Administrator or their account manager.

Steps

Keep your contacts

Each Client Contact has one or more Contact Purposes: Primary, Operations, Dispatch Alerts, Invoices and Escalation. A purpose nobody holds shows Unfilled.

  1. Select Your account and find Contacts.
  2. To fill an unfilled purpose, select Assign under it. Choose an Existing contact, or enter a new contact's Name and an Email or Phone, and select Submit.
  3. To add a contact, open All contacts and select Add contact. Enter a Name, an Email or Phone, tick its Purposes and select Submit.
  4. To change or remove a contact, open All contacts and select Change contact or Remove contact beside it.

A contact can be a shared mailbox, such as Hebden Botanicals Finance for invoices.

Invite someone

  1. Under People, select Invite person.

  2. Enter the person's Email.

  3. Under Role, select Client Viewer, Client User or Client Account Administrator. Each shows what it allows.

  4. Select Send invitation. "Invitation sent" shows, and the person is listed under Pending invitations until they accept.

Invite a person to Hebden Botanicals Ltd, with an email field and the three roles, each with what it allows.

The person gets an email: Sign in for the first time shows them what to do.

Change or remove someone

  1. Under People, find the person under Members.
  2. To change their role, select Change role, choose the new Role and select Submit.
  3. To take away their sign-in, select Remove, then Confirm. They can no longer sign in for your company.
  4. To withdraw an invitation, select Cancel invitation beside it under Pending invitations, then Confirm.

What happens next

Every change shows under History on Your account, and your 3PL sees it too. Removing a person leaves any contact for them in place.

Keep at least one Client Account Administrator. Nothing stops you removing yourself, so if nobody is left to invite people, ask your account manager.

Questions about your stock or deliveries go to your account manager.

Still stuck? Contact your 3PL's account manager.
