Location Status
Also called: lifecycle state, bin status.
Whether a location is in use, which decides whether stock can be put away or picked there.
Where you’ll see it
As Lifecycle State on each location and in the Locations list, and on the Warehouse Floorplan's maintenance overlay.
What each value means
- Active
- In use. Stock can be put away, stored and picked.
- Maintenance
- Out of use for a reason someone gave, such as damaged racking. Nothing new is put away or reserved there.
- Inactive
- Not in use. Nothing is put away or reserved there, and an empty Inactive location can be deleted.
