Why a client's delivery is refused at the dock or missing from the client list, from a hold to a closed account, and who can let it in.

In short

The client's account stops its deliveries: it is on hold, not live yet, past its last trading date or closed. The message names who to ask, and an Admin or a Warehouse Manager can let a held client's delivery in.

The client is on hold

The account is on hold, often over unpaid invoices, so no delivery is accepted at the dock. A delivery already being received when the hold went on is finished as usual.

Ask the Account Manager the message names whether to let it in. An Admin or a Warehouse Manager can then accept it with the Dock Override. If the hold is lifted instead, carry on as usual.

The client isn't live yet

A new client's deliveries are accepted only once it goes live, or earlier if its Account Manager allows early receipt. Ask the Account Manager to allow it, or to bring the client live.

Its last trading date has passed

The client is offboarding. Deliveries are accepted up to its last trading date and refused after it, so the stock it has can leave. Ask its Account Manager whether the delivery should come at all.

The account is closed

A closed client takes no deliveries. No more stock can be received, even for a delivery already at the dock. Ask its Account Manager.

The client isn't in the list

New Inbound Shipment and New Purchase Order offer only clients whose account allows the work. A held, closed or offboarded client is left out. Ask its Account Manager, as above. New Purchase Order still offers a new client that isn't live yet, so its orders can be planned.

Nobody is named to ask

When the client has no Account Manager, the message says to ask an Admin. An Admin can name the client's Account Manager.
