Mark a shipment arrived at a dock door

  • How-to
  • Inbound
  • Who can do this: Admin, Warehouse Manager, Floor Supervisor, Warehouse Operative
  • Checked on 27 October 2026

Record that a booked-in delivery has reached the dock, and choose the Dock Staging location its stock is received into.

In short

In the shipment's row on Inbound › Inbound Shipments, select Actions, then Mark Arrived. Choose the Dock Staging Location at its door and select Mark Arrived.

Before you start

You need to be an Admin, a Warehouse Manager, a Floor Supervisor or a Warehouse Operative. If you don't see Mark Arrived, ask a Floor Supervisor.

The Inbound Shipment must be booked in and Expected. Check the carrier's paperwork against its number or Shipment Reference.

Steps

  1. Go to Inbound › Inbound Shipments and search for the shipment, such as INB-COL-000022 for Kestrel Audio.
  2. In its row, select Actions, then Mark Arrived.
  3. Choose the Dock Staging Location at the door the lorry is on, such as COL-GI-DOCK-03. Only active Dock Staging locations, of the Location Type Staging Area, are offered.
  4. Select Mark Arrived. The shipment is Arrived.

INB-COL-000022 arrived at COL-GI-DOCK-03

If the client is on hold, the arrival is refused and the message says who to ask:

Hebden Botanicals Ltd (HEB) is on hold, so its delivery cannot be accepted at the dock or received. Ask the account manager, Priya Desai.

An Admin or a Warehouse Manager can let it in with the Dock Override.

What happens next

The shipment's row shows its door and arrival time, and Open Dock Terminal appears under Actions. Receive it at the dock there. Until the first scan it can still be cancelled.
