SKU Alias
Also called: alternate SKU, cross-reference, product mapping.
Another code a client uses for one of its products, such as the code its online shop sends. An order line with that code finds the product, whatever its capitals or spaces. A SKU Alias is never the same as one of the client's SKUs or other SKU Aliases, and adding or removing one never changes orders already taken in.
Where you’ll see it
In the SKU Aliases column of the Products list, on each product, and in a product's Add SKU Alias and Remove SKU Alias actions.
