Find out why Stockist offers only Quarantine Locations for quarantined or damaged stock, and what to do when the location you want isn't there.
In short
Loose quarantined stock can only stand in a Quarantine Location, so Stockist offers no other. If the stock is cleared, release it to Available first, then move it wherever you like.
What you see
The stock is still quarantined
Quarantined stock is kept apart until someone checks it. When you move it or unpack it, only Quarantine Locations are offered, such as COL-QA-QA-02.
If the stock has been cleared, change its status to Available, then move it. If it hasn't, put it in a Quarantine Location.
To move quarantined stock with its pallet, move the container instead: a container goes anywhere with everything in it.
No Quarantine Location is offered
The warehouse has no Quarantine Location that is active and takes putaway, or the only one is where the stock already is. Ask a Warehouse Manager to set a location's type to Quarantine, or to bring one back into use.
Damaged units at the QA Station
Units a QA check finds damaged go to a Quarantine Location in the order's warehouse. Scan the label of the Quarantine Location you put them in, not the bench or a pick face.
Stock not on the books after a count
When a Location Count finds stock Stockist doesn't hold, the Floor Supervisor confirming it chooses the Quarantine Location the stock was taken to. Only active Quarantine Locations in that warehouse are offered. Take the stock there first, then confirm the count.
